Puis-je déposer une demande chaque année ?
Oui, aussi longtemps que le programme existe vous pouvez participer une fois par année jusqu’à ce que vous gagniez une carte verte. Veuillez toutefois noter que vous devez présenter une nouvelle demande signée et accompagnée d’une photo chaque année et que les anciennes demandes ne peuvent être réutilisées. Seule une demande par personne par an est acceptée !
Pourquoi le pays de naissance est-il plus important que la nationalité ?
En vertu des conditions d’admissibilité, le pays de naissance du participant est le critère le plus important. Etant donné que les délimitations territoriales changent fréquemment et que beaucoup de demandes nécessitent des vérifications, les autorités américaines ne font aucune exception à cette règle. Même si vous ne résidez pas dans votre pays de naissance, vous devez quand même fournir cette information. Votre nationalité n’est pas un critère d’éligibilité.
