Visa processing fee in Germany has been lowered
As of February 12, 2007, the visa processing fee is only €80 instead of €85 per person. With this, the US government has adjusted the fee to the current Euro-Dollar exchange rate. Anyone applying for a US visa from Germany has to fill out an online payment confirmation in order to have a secure way of proving that the processing fee has been paid. This confirmation has to be presented at the interview at one of the US consulates in either Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt together with your visa application. USCIS plans to raise application fees
US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is planning to raise visa application fees by an average of 66% per application, probably by April 2, 2007. Fees will be raised for the majority of work-related non-immigration visas such as H-1B and L visa, as well as family and work-related green cards and US naturalization applications.
