Editorial
Dear Reader,
Like so many other, our team was shocked by the news of Hurricane Katrina. We would have liked to present you an eye-witness report by one of our green card winners who is living in Louisiana, but unfortunately we did not receive it in time for our editorial deadline - understandable, since our winner will probably have other things to worry about at the moment. We hope to have received it in time for the next edition.
On this note, our company of course doesn't just want to watch without intervening - we want to help the other helpers. So we offer free advice about visa options to relief organizations who want to send relief personnel to the region. Because one thing is for certain - the people in Louisiana should not be forgot even if the public will soon move on to other issues.
In our Stories & Lifestyle section, we will inform you about "bizarre scholarships," apart from the usual scholarships, there are many rather absurd scholarship options in the US.
Our How To section will inform you about the visa category that is quickly increasing in popularity - the E-2 Treaty Investor Visa. In case you are planning to move your company headquarters to the US or open a subsidiary there, you will find some helpful brief information there. This will be complemented by the experiences of one of our customers who has successfully completed this visa process.
To conclude, a short apology - our newsletter is especially late this time, since we were waiting for the official announcement for the next green card lottery by the US government yesterday. Now we have it, and you may read everything about the regulations in our green card lottery update!
As always, have fun reading!
Sincerely yours,
THE AMERICAN DREAM team
