Our focus today is still on the most popular US state among Germans - California. With regard to the turbulent gubernatorial elections, we will present you with some entertaining facts about the (immigration) history of the Hollywood celebrity-governor. In our How To section, we will tell you how to legally cruise the Californian highways in "Arnie's" state. However, do not speed - the infamous California Highway Patrol may be waiting for you around any corner.
And finally we will again have a report by an emigrant about her own American dream for you. She has won the green card in 2001.
In our Breaking News section and, of course, in Visa & More, we will give you some news about tourist visas and immigration. The last few weeks have been rather turbulent, so that we only received the official conformation about the extension of the deadline for the new passport regulations several hours after we sent out our last edition.
