Dear Reader,

It took us a while before we had this newsletter ready to be sent out. We would like to apologize to all those who have already been waiting impatiently. However, we have tried to use the time well. We have restructured the newsletter and tried to adjust the content according to your wishes. We have also restructured our website and are now offering even more US travelogues and US news. You can find all earlier newsletter editions in the archives on our homepage, dating back to 1999.

Especially our free text message service seems in high demand right now, one of the few that hasn't changed since the telecommunication providers have raised their prices in January. You will find this service on our homepage under "Specials."

Just a quick word about the green card lottery - many of you have been waiting for the results since last October and are growing more and more impatient, which is understandable. Nevertheless, we will have to keep you waiting for a little time longer - the results probably won't be in before June of 2002, in two months. Of course we will notify you immediately as soon as we get any official news from the US, via mail or email (provided you have stated your email address on the application. Until then, we ask for your patience and keep our fingers crossed!
