Michael Jackson goes to Hollywood

It seems like Michael Jackson will now become a movie star. If the information is correct, Hollywood is now planning to produce a movie about the king of pop, Michael Jackson. The movie should contain the video material of his rehearsals for the planned come back tour, which was supposed to start at the end of June. The video material presumably contains about 80 hours music and rehearsal practice.

Producer Kenny Ortega, who also is the director of "High School Musical" and was supposed to stage manage the come back tour in London, will most likely be the producer of the new movie.

After the tragic death of the King of Pop at the end of June, the sale of his CDs rose extremely. 2.3 million CDs were sold in the USA only!
Due to the high demand of Jackson's CDs, his fans are now waiting for Jackson's record labels to bring out some older songs, which have not been published before.

40th Anniversary of the First Moon Landing

On July 20th, the USA celebrated the 40. anniversary of the first landing on the moon. Astronauts and former "moonwalkers" advocated that the NASA should also think about a mission to the mars. Edwin Aldrin, who was the second person on the moon, stated, that more people have to be sent to the moon again and that it is time, to think about a mission to the mars.

In 1971, US-astronaut Eugene Cernan was one of the last astronauts on the moon. He demands that people have to go back to the moon! He suggested, to put up bases on the moon and to install a telescope and to get prepared for a mission to the mars.

Experts are already thinking about an excursion to the moon in the year 2020, which should be the preparation for the landing on the mars, but the costs are too high at the moment and it is therefore unsure, if this mission will be materialized.
