Sonja Gessner is the Head of Visa & Immigration Services and as such mainly responsible for internationally-active corporate customers and their employees and helping them with US immigration law and sending employees to the US. This specifically means advise for and handling of all usual US visa applications. Sonja Gessner studied social pedagogy and political science and has been working for The American Dream since 2004.

Georg Mehnert is The American Dream’s Director Visa and Immigration Service & Business Development. Since 2001 he has been the Head of Migration and Visa Consulting and specializes in US immigration and visa law and law relating to work permits, and especially consular matters. After graduating from university with a diploma in social work, he worked as a migration consultant for the Raphaels-Werk from 1993 – 2001. As an “international visitor” of the US State Department he completed a number of trainings with US immigration offices in Washington D.C., New York and San Diego, and with distinguished US law firms. He is also the author of “Der amerikanische Traum. Mit Greencard oder Visum in die USA“ (Engl. “The American Dream. Into the US with a green card or visa.”), 3^rd edition 2008, co-authored with US immigration lawyer Liam Schwartz.
