Почему родина важнее, чем гражданство?
По правилам участия в лотерее родина участника лотереи – самый важный критерий. Так как государственные границы часто меняются, и в данном случае надо было бы пересмотреть большое число заявок, власти США не разрешают никаких исключений. Даже если Вы не гражданин Вашей страны, Вам надо всё-таки указать Ваше место рождения. Ваше гражданство не важно.
Может ли выигравший служить в американской армии?
Вам разрешено заниматься любыми работами, включая большинство областей службы в американской армии. Те области, которые закрыты владельцам зелёной карты, будут доступны тем людям, которые приобретают американское гражданство. Вы можете получить американское гражданство уже через пять лет.
