For how long is the I-Visa valid?
There are no time limitations for the I-visa in general. Usually, the consular officer at the appropriate US consulate will decide upon visa validity. Most often, you will be authorized to stay until your project/job is completed. Usually, I-visas are issued for a period of five years.
