For how long is the P visa valid?
The maximum validity for a P visa is one year (also for accompanying support personnel). The only exception is the P-1 Visa for individual athletes. This can be issued for a period of up to five years and be extended up to a maximum stay of ten years. Usually, P visas will be extended in one-year increments.
