Green card lottery update
Unfortunately, we don't have any news about the last or the next lottery. In our next newsletter, which will be a double issue in early April, we may already be able to name the first winners of 2006. It is more likely, however, that nothing is going to happen before May or June...
There aren't any news concerning the next lottery either, which in itself, is already good news. After last year's debate about ending the lottery, nothing to the effect has been mentioned lately. Because of the November elections and the changes in politics in the US that will be caused by these elections, the bills that have been introduced so far will probably not have a chance of being passed anymore before the elections. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that a bill ending the lottery can be passed before the next run. That means we can all be happy about another chance.
We still offer significantly reduced prices for new customers until May 31, all customers who have already participate last year, however, should wait until their results are in. You can still register again after you get your results, and you will get our special discount that is much more favorable than that for new customers.
In the meantime, we wish you good luck and will keep our fingers crossed for you!
