Green card lottery update
By now, the US State Department has announced the official regulations for the green card lottery DV-2007. Applications will again be submitted in digital form, since this has worked so well last year. Our customers may still submit their photos on paper and THE AMERICAN DREAM will digitalize them, or you may - if available - submit digital photos.
Also, the application deadline has been announced - applications may be submitted starting November until January 7, 2005. Last year, however, it was relatively difficult to submit applications in the last few days before the deadline since the US State Department's servers were too busy. Therefore, THE AMERICAN DREAM will submit all applications way before the final deadline.
So for now we have extended our internal deadline to November 30, 2004. We ask all our customers to please submit their applications by the end of November at the latest, in case you haven't already. We will, probably, still accept applications in December. However, it might be rather difficult to edit them appropriately in case any information is missing or there's a problem with your photo. So it would be in your own interest to submit your applications as early as possible.
We will keep our fingers crossed for all our customers and say good luck for the lottery of 2005.
