Immigration has always be a complex process and during the past centuries it has become a more and more bureaucratic procedure. Every country has its own immigration laws and of course specific Immigration Forms.

Diversity of Immigration Forms

In the United States these Immigration Forms are called USCIS Forms. All in all there are more than 50 different Immigration Forms that can be either directly received from the USCIS office or downloaded from the internet.

Of course not every immigrant has to fill out every single of these Immigration Forms. The combination of forms that is supposed to be filled out by the applicant depends on his or her individual case. But still the amount of Immigration Forms a single applicant has to deal with is very high.

A huge part of these Immigration Forms an applicant for a permanent Green Card has to fill out deals with personal and biographic information such as date and place of birth, information about school education, level of graduation, level of occupational qualification, level of language skills, family background, financial situation, health conditions, etc.

But the majority of the Immigration Forms that need to be filled out contains the high number of formal requests, as change of address etc, and requests for the several permissions, needed to complete the process of immigration and become a regular citizen of the United States such as an entry permission, a working permission, a residential permission etc.

Many people may be discouraged by the number of Immigration Forms and the amount of bureaucracy they have to face but with regard to the fact that immigration changes a persons whole life one should not expect this process to be easy.
