Information for green card winners (DV-2000)
For those who have already been drawn as winners in 1999, the interview at the consulate is only a short time away. Many of those have already passed this successfully in spring, we would like to congratulate them again and are already looking forward to their reports about the experiences they will make in the US.
However, many have not yet received their invitation for an interview and are starting to get worried. So please check your personal winner's number - if this is higher than 2000EU00021000, you will get an interview appointment for July at the earliest. This year especially, the process of issuing the visas is going very slowly. However, appointments can still be given out until September and we expect that all applicants will have received one until then.
