News around the Green-Card-Lottery

Today we have some wonderful news for all participants of the green card lottery DV-2011. We have received the first winning notifications from the U.S. authorities. All green card winners were informed right away via e-mail and will receive the original documents within the next weeks, including a detailed handbook with information about the further procedure.

We have already received phone calls and e-mails from exciting winners who could not believe their luck. But it is true - if you receive an e-mail from The American Dream, you can be sure that it is not a joke.

But watch out for fake winning notifications! Once in a while we get the information from participants that they received a phone call from the U.S. or a strange e-mail telling them that they are a green card winner and that they have to make a payment right away. But this information is not correct. All participants who entered the green card lottery via The American Dream will receive an e-mail from The American Dream or will be called from our German Office. Furthermore we will send you the winning documents and a detailed handbook by registered post. Within that information brochure you will also find all information about further payments you will have to make at the interview appointment in the U.S. consulate. So please do not give away your bank details on the phone or via e-mail and wait until we contact you with the winning notification.
