Official Green Card

Immigration to the United States of America is possible for everyone – there is just one condition: a person deciding to move to the USA permanently has to be in possession of an official Green Card. There are two ways of obtaining an official Green Card: applying for one through the USCIS or entering the American Green Card Lottery.

Both ways are possible for everyone willing to immigrate to the US, there are just a few requirements: a candidate has to prove their eligibility by filling out forms concerning their financial situation, their health or their level of education. A potential immigrant also has to come up with a certificate of good conduct and answer additional questions in an interview before they receive their official Green Card. Once a person has definitely obtained their official Green Card  they are free to move to a state and city of their choice and start working at a paid job for as long as they like.

They can also bring their spouse and children under the age of 21, enabling them to receive a Green Card as well. Especially for those that do not yet have a job or job-offer in the United States the Green Card lottery offers an excellent chance to become a holder of an official Green Card – 55,000 Green Cards are handed out that way every year since 1987.
