There are many students in the whole world who are dream of studying in the United States of America. Therefore they need a student visa. The first step for a prospective nonimmigrant student is being accepted for enrolment in an established school which is SEVP certified. You have to apply early for a student visa. If you want to enter earlier to the United States (more than 30 days prior to the course start date) you have to qualify for, and obtain a visitor visa. There are some hurdles to take if you want to apply for a student visa. You have to fill out some forms like the I-20A-B (also called F-1) or the I-20M-N (also called M-1). Also you have to submit a SEVIS generated Form I-20. You and your school official must sign the I-20 form.
Then you must send a completed application for the student visa. You need a passport which is valid for the travel to the U.S. and which has a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in America. The last thing you need for the student visa application is a 2x2 photo. Also you have to send the MRV fee receipt and the SEVIS fee receipt.
You have to keep in mind that if you are away from classes for more than five month you have to apply again for the student visa.
