What are the requirements for investors?

Eligibility criteria for this category apply to both the investment and the enterprise that is to be established:

The minimum sum of investment is US$ 1,000,000. This sum is cut in half to US$ 500,000 for investment in a targeted employment area.
The investment must be made to establish a new commercial enterprise.
The investment must create jobs for at least 10 full-time U.S. employees.

PLEASE NOTE: Several investors may use the same enterprise as the basis of their green card application, on the condition that each one makes the minimum sum of investment and each investment leads to the creation of at least 10 full-time jobs.
