What type of visa do accompanying family members get?

Spouses and/or children of C-1/D visa holders do not receive a related visa (unlike those of H- or L-Visa-Holders). Family members who wish to accompany a crew member, have to apply for a B-2 Tourist Visa.

IMPORTANT: A B-2 tourist visa is not a permission to work or attend school or university!
