Who qualifies for the O-1 category?
The O visa is for people with extraordinary abilities in the fields of science, art, education, business, athletics, or the motion picture and television industry.
To be considered a person with extraordinary abilities you have to
- be extraordinarily skilled in your field of expertise
- have received an extraordinary level of education/training in your field
- be highly regarded for achievements in your field of expertise
