I participated in DV-11 and it was my first attempt. I was overjoyed when I received in March 2011 the notification of winning. To be a GreenCard holder was one of my dreams since I was 15 years old. Our three cards are finally here. It took some time after the interview in the consulate, but all the formalities are finally done! We had a wonderful time in the state of Washinton.
Dear American Dream Team, After a couple of years of luckless participation, I did receive an Email from you with the notification of winning. First thought: Spam!??!? Then quickly followed the interview appointment at the Consulate in March and the GreenCard activation trip in August. Now I am a GreenCard holder and soon I will be crossing the “big pond”! Thank you for your support on the first clumsy steps to get there.
